CURT Weld-On Hitches Offer Heavy-Duty Weight Ratings

CURT weld-on receiver hitches are designed to be a permanent option for heavy-duty work trucks that regularly tow large, heavy trailers and provide the highest weight ratings over other receiver types. As the name suggests, a weld-on hitch receiver is designed to be permanently welded to the frame of your vehicle and for this reason, weld-on towing hitches offer the highest towing capacity of up to 20,000 lbs. (Note: weight ratings vary by part number.)

CURT weld-on towing hitches are rated as class 5 receivers and come with 2" or 2-1/2" sized receiver tube openings, which can be used with a weight distribution hitch for smoother, steadier towing. Perfect for use with toy haulers, dump trailers, logging trailers, gravity boxes and small yacht trailers.

In general, weld-on hitches work well on 1/2-ton trucks but are especially useful for heavy-duty towing with 3/4-ton and 1-ton pickup trucks or service vehicles, as they're rated for a tongue weight of up to 2,000 lbs.

CURT weld-on receiver hitches are versatile, strong and a great choice for heavy-duty hauling. They're also available with a drop of up to 18" and feature a black powder coat finish that is corrosion resistant. Overall, these hitches are ready for routine, heavy-duty towing and are built to last.
