While many weight distribution hitches are made to be compatible with a sway control attachment, the CURT TruTrack™ is an advanced WD system that integrates the sway control function into the design of the hitch. It combines precise weight distributing with active sway control to deliver the smoothest, safest ride possible.
The TruTrack™ 4P features a unique spring and cam system within the hitch head that builds up pressure to actively stop sway and then relaxes to make smooth turns. The hardened cam components are less subject to wear and last longer than competitor models. The TruTrack™ also features unique spring bars. Like all WD hitches, it uses a pair of spring bars to leverage the trailer tongue weight and spread it across all axles of the vehicle-trailer combination. However, instead of using spring bar chains, the TruTrack™ connects to the trailer frame using heavy-duty, adjustable support brackets that hold the spring bars in place laterally and vertically. While regular spring bars angle from side to side, the integrated sway control arms resist this movement and keep the trailer better aligned.
In addition to its integrated sway control, the CURT TruTrack™ offers the same great quality as our other WD hitches, making it the perfect choice for campers, livestock trailers and other heavy-duty trailers. We stand behind this uncompromising hitch, and to prove it, we back it up with a limited lifetime warranty.

I’ve had this hitch for over a year now. My truck has so much control and is stable while towing my toy hauler.

It's a nice hitch but they needs to come with a different shank. Like the other reviews say, 99% of the trucks that'll need a hitch like this are going to need more of a drop shank. Not very happy that I have to spend another $200 on top of the almost $800 I just spent.

Does an amazing job of controlling sway even in windy conditions. I tow a 37' travel trailer weighing 10,500 lbs without worries. Heavy duty and made to last.

Included shank is inadequate
I am in agreement with Mark above. A great Heavy Duty hitch marred by poor inclusion of a shank that won’t work for most people. The shank that is included provides rise only and no drop. Since most people towing a heavy trailer like this is designed for have 3/4 ton tow vehicle or larger the included shank is incompatible. Unless your trailer coupler is much higher than normal, a 3/4 ton vehicle’s receiver places the ball way too high. Therefore I needed drop on the shank not rise. The included shank only provides 1/2 inch of drop. So, after buying the system I now need to purchase the optional shank that actually provides drop to get the trunion bars level and working as intended. Loss of 2 stars for hiding the additional $100 cost of the Curt shank that will work on my Fleetwood Revolution motorhome, going to a stacker trailer. -
